Our technology works similar to a library. You “check out” information, view it, and then it disappears. No permanent records, no hidden vaults. Just temporary access when you need it.

Face Scanning

When you face scan someone, if they are a Cadooga member, you will see their profile and any information they have chosen to share. Participation is always a choice. If someone chooses not to participate, their profile will still exist securely within the Cadooga system, but it will not be available for live scanning. The door swings both ways, members who choose not to participate in scanning also do not have the ability to scan others.

Members

If you’re a Cadooga member, you give us permission to store your uploaded photos, like your profile picture — the same exact way every other social media platform works. That’s how we know who you are inside the app.

We want you to fully understand how Cadooga works. That’s why, when you join, we also email you a link to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Even if you can’t find them later, you’ll always have a link in your inbox.

Respecting Global Privacy Laws

Every country has its own laws for biometric data. To respect those laws, we’ve geofenced the entire United States. This ensures that Cadooga operates only where it’s allowed.

We did make one exception... For the State of Illinois.

Why Is Illinois Different? Illinois state law prevents its citizens from identifying the people around them. We disagree — we believe everyone should have the right to know who’s near them and their family. However we respect the law. Unfortunately, in the state of Illinois, users will not have access to Cadooga and will have to continue to live with "stranger danger".

Transparency Through Data

We only track anonymous statistical data like age, gender, and location. This helps us understand who’s using Cadooga and when, so we can keep improving. What we don’t do is run advertisements. Advertising is not our business.
